HMD (Human Mobile Devices), recognised for making iconic Nokia phones, is set to unveil several smartphones under its independent brand this year. The HMD Global Legend achieved 379 points in the single-core test and 1,370 points in the multi-core test. On the other hand, the HMD Global LegendPro scored 373 points in the single-core test and 1,384 points in the multi-core test.

The Geekbench listings revealed that these upcoming HMD smartphones are expected to run on Android 14 out-of-the-box.

The HMD Legend might pack up to 4GB RAM, while the LegendPro will likely come with memory up to 8GB.

Although specifics regarding the upcoming HMD phones remain scarce, there are indications that they could bear resemblance to the old Nokia Lumia series, if the redesigning of the former Nokia website is anything to go by.

Recently, HMD teased three smartphones in bright colours, including shades of blue, green, and pink. It is speculated that two of these phones could be the HMD Legend and LegendPro, as they are likely to be among the initial smartphones to be launched.

Earlier, a leaked render of one of HMD’s initial phones surfaced online. Based on the image, the phone appeared to be a lower mid-range model featuring a plastic, matte back. Subsequently, another leak hinted that the smartphone (or another from the first batch) might boast a 108MP OIS camera.
