Uninor, which is a new entrant in the telecom sector in india, has a collection of ‘Talk Unlimited Plans’ that allow users to make unlimited calls for a fixed monthly rental. These new plans are valid in Uttar Pradesh.
Under either of these plans, the user can make unlimited Uninor to Uninor calls after paying Rs. 37 per month. The company also claims that users will not face any connectivity issues, as this is a brand new congestion free network. There’s one more talk plan in the collection, the Talk Unlimited plan, offers unlimited calls, from Uninor to any network, for Rs.197 per month, and STD calls @ 49 paise per minute.
“It is all about making it simple – one affordable monthly charge, no more worries about seconds and minutes and a network with no traffic jams,” said Frode Haugen, EVP UP East Hub, Uninor.
Uninor’s new Talk Unlimited Plan are available at all Uninor exclusive shops and with retailers selling Uninor connections across the state.
Uninor is a mobile telephony and network operator in India. The company holds a pan-India UAS licence that offers telecommunications services in each of India’s 22 circles. It has also received permission to roll out these services in 21 of the 22 telecom circles. From November 2009, Uninor will be owned 67.25% by Norwegian telecom giant Telenor, and 32.75% by India’s Unitech Group. Uninor start its mobile services in India at the end of 2009, and focuses mostly on GSM technology.
