Two new Symbian^3 phones spotted: Nokia T7-00 and E6-00 [images]
While the Hindustan Times has just reported that the Finnish mobile giant will be unveiling 40 new handsets in the rest of 2011, including new 12 smartphones, images of two Symbian^3 devices have been revealed – the Nokia T7-00, and, the Nokia E6-00.
[RELATED_ARTICLE]Though the Nokia T7-00 was spotted as a model on the Ovi Publishing Tools page for the first time ever last week, not many details accompanied that leak, apart from a 360×640 resolution. Now, leaked images from a Chinese site show that the Nokia T7-00 has a lot in common with the Nokia N8, the same design, with toned down specifications. It even bears Nseries branding on the back, suggesting that this might be the Nokia N7, and not the lead device for a wholly unheard-of Tseries.
Packing an 8MP camera instead of the Nokia N8’s 12MP camera, the Nokia T7-00 has an nHD (360×640 pixels) AMOLED display, a 700MHz ARM11 CPU with OpenGL 2.0-capable GPU, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB and 3G connectivity.
The Nokia E6-00 has been expected for a while, and was last spotted back in February. It has now got new images and a blurry video, showing off the QWERTY Symbian^3 handset with an amazing 480×640-pixel touchscreen display, an 8MP fixed-focus camera with dual LED that’s capable of 720p HD video recording, and HSDPA connectivity.
