While everyone loves the remote control, its ability to disappear at the most inopportune times is extremely inconvenient, to say the least. Not to mention the fact that since almost every device now comes with remote control, these little devices are now starting to pile up. Thankfully, select manufacturers have started offering an IR blaster in their smartphones, so users can control devices such as TVs, ACs, and more directly from their smartphones. Here’s a look at some smartphones on Amazon that come with an IR blaster. 

Redmi Note 8 Pro

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is an all-rounder in many ways. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, that has been specifically designed for gaming. Redmi Y3

The Redmi Y3 is a selfie-focussed device that packs an AI-assisted 32MP front camera. At the back is a dual-camera setup with a 12MP+2MP configuration. The device packs a 6.26-inch HD+ The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 3GB RAM. Other features include a 4000mAh battery and 32GB of built-in storage, with the option to expand the storage by up to 512GB via a microSD card. The device also comes with a P2i coating that promises improved protection against humidity, splashes and spills.

Honor 20

The Honor 20 aims to offer users flagship-grade performance at a reasonable budget. The device is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset, with 6GB of RAM. The phone sports a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7%. At the back of the phone is a quad-camera setup with 48MP+16MP+2MP+2MP configuration, which includes an ultra-wide lens and a macro lens. At the front is a 32MP sensor. Other features of the phone include 3270mAh battery capacity and 128GB in-built storage, which should be plenty for most users. 

Huawei P30 Pro

The Huawei P30 Pro is one of the few flagship devices to pack an IR blaster. The device sports a 6.47-inch FHD+ display and is powered by a Kirin 980 SoC with 8GB RAM. The phone also features one of the best rear cameras currently available on a phone. The device packs a quad-rear camera setup with a 40MP+20MP+8MP+ToF configuration. At the front is a 32MP camera for selfies. Other features of the device include 256GB of onboard storage and 4200mAh battery.
