Lenovo has launched it’s much-anticipated smartphone, the Lenovo K8 Note at an event in Delhi. This was Lenovo’s first global launch in India. Kicking things off with the specifications, the K8 Note is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Deca Core MediaTek Helio X23 processor. It features a 5.5-Inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080. The screen sports a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla glass with an Oleophobic coating and is P2I splash resistant. The rear of the device sports a dual camera setup with 13MP Purecell Plus sensor along with a 5MP Samsung sensor that provides depth to the photos. It features a f/2.0 aperture with an LED flash and for selfies, it gets a 13MP front facing camera and a Professional Mode for both the front and rear cameras.
The smartphone is offered in two variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB built-in storage. The phone also has expandable storage up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and is a dual SIM smartphone without a hybrid SIM slot. This means you can now use two SIM cards along with an external SD card.
The Lenovo K8 Note, similar to its previous installments, features Dolby Atmos surround sound. The phone also sports a dedicated music key which can be programmed for either playing music or launching any app such as flashlight or radio. The K8 Note also supports its proprietary TheaterMax VR technology.
The head of product marketing, Anuj Sharma at the launch of K8 Note said that the first flash sale for the K8 Note starts from August 18, 12 Noon. The phone is priced at Rs 12999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and at Rs 13999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The smartphone is going to be available in 2 colors: Fine Gold and Venom Black. The K8 Note comes with launch offers for consumers such as 80% off Kindle ebooks, 64GB flat 4G data and unlimited calls for 56 days at Rs. 343 with Idea and Moto Sports headphones at Rs. 699.
