Leaked images suggest the phone will have the Starfleet insignia at the back along with a Star Trek themed variant of the company's Flyme UI

Good new for Trekkies as Meizu might be planning to launch a Star Trek-themed variant of its M3E smartphone in China. GizChina has posted a couple of photos the phone, one of which shows the Starfleet insignia at the back. The phone’s Flyme UI also seems to have a Star Trek theme. The report notes that the phone will launched on September 2, and it isn’t yet known if the phone will be available for purchase outside the country.

As for the smartphone itself, The Meizu M3E features a metal body and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD.  It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 3100mAh battery and offers 32GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB.

If Star Trek isn’t your cup of tea and you like superheros instead, you might want to check out the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: Injustice Edition that has a Batman-theme. The phone is completely black with gold detailing and a Batman symbol at the back. The phone also had a Batman-themed version of Touchwiz. There are also leaked images that suggest that Samsung might be planning to give the Galaxy Note 7 the same treatment. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched earlier this month and features a dual-curved 5.7-inch display and an improved S-Pen.
