Spice has announced its first LTE smartphone for the Indian market. The new Stellar 519 runs Android KitKat 4.4.4 and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,499, and is available across India through all major retail stores, Spice Hotspot stores and can also be purchased online at www.saholic.com.
The Spice Stellar 519 has a 5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It sports 8MP rear camera and 3.2MP front facing camera. The smartphone comes with 8GB ROM, 1GB of RAM and expandable memory up to 32GB. It is powered by a 2500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi/ WiFi tethering along with Bluetooth 4.0.

Spice's new smartphone will take on a few 4G phones under and around Rs. 10,000. In the segment, it will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Micromax Yu Yureka, Nokia Lumia 638, Xolo LT900 and Lenovo A6000 and A7000.
