S Mobility’s 5-inch Android phablet, Spice Stellar Horizon Mi-500, is now available online at Rs. 12,499. The Stellar Horizon is a dual-SIM (GSM GSM) device and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor coupled with 4GB ROM and 512MB of RAM.
The Spice Stellar Horizon has a 5-inch TFT touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It has 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera, 2.07 GB built-in storage, microSD Card slot and comes with a 2,400 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device supports GPS, 2G, 3G, GPRS, Edge, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. The device comes preloaded with various applications such as YouTube, Facebook and Google Play store. According to reports, the Stellar Horizon was expected to be launched in late June but was delayed due to unknown reasons. The new Spice phablet will compete against other budget phablets in the market such as the Micromax Superfone Canvas, the iBall Andi 5C and the Wammy Note from Wicked Leak.
