Spice Mobiles has launched an octa-core version of its Spice Stellar 526 smartphone dubbed the 526n Octa priced at Rs 7,999. The smartphone is available via ecommerce retailer Saholic.com as well as major retail and Spice HotSpot stores in India.
The Spice Stellar 526n Octa smartphone has a sleek metallic finish designed by a London based designer. It has a 5 inch HD on-cell IPS display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with HD video recording and Clear Motion technology as well as a 3.2 MP front snapper.
The Spice Stellar 526n Octa is backed by a 2500 mAh battery that according to company claims delivers 280 hours of standby time. Connectivity options included in the smartphone are WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, 3G and microUSB. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It is available in White and Pebble Blue color variants. The smartphone competes with budget devices like the Lava Iris X8, Intex Aqua Power and Xiaomi Redmi 2 in this price range.
