Images of the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus (model number GT-i9105P), and the Galaxy Grand Duos (model number GT-i9082) have surfaced online.

The Galaxy S II Plus is expected to be officially unveiled later this month and looks a lot like the original Samsung Galaxy S II, which was launched in 2011 (read our review of the original Samsung Galaxy S II here). The S II Plus will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera with flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is quite light at 121gms.

The second device to be leaked is the Galaxy Grand Duos. The smartphone feature a 4.5 inch WVGA screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and Android 4.1Jelly Bean. As the name suggests, the phone will boast of dual-SIM capabilities.

The leak comes from the Japanese Blog of Mobile site, and it is speculated that the devices will launch there first.

Samsung has a habit of releasing various iterations of its flagship smartphone. We have seen this with the original Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. Now we have a few iterations of that which includes the Samsung Galaxy S Duos (a dual-SIM variant of the smartphone that looks like the little brother of the S III), the Samsung Galaxy S Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. All the variants of the smartphone boast of some distinguishing factors.

With CES and MWC just around the corner, we can expect to see a bunch of smartphones leak before their official announcement at the two events.
