Successor to Sony’s flagship Xperia Z1 smartphone is rumoured to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event next month. Information about the new smartphone, dubbed Xperia Z2 and codenamed Sirius, come from a retweet from leaksters @evleaks.
The Sony Xperia Z2 is rumoured to feature 5.2-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. The smartphone will also feature a 20.7MP camera, 3,700 mAh battery, slim design and water resistant body. The Z2 will also feature the Mobile Bravia Engine 3. Other details about the upcoming smartphone aren’t know yet.

Rumours about the Z1 successor come shortly after Sony launched a ‘compact’ variant of the Xperia Z1, called the Xperia Z1 Compact. The smartphone features Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 20.7MP camera with G lens, 4.3 inch IPS panel with 720p resolution.
The MWC 2014 is expected to see some major announcements. Rumours are Samsung may unveil its new Galaxy S5 with new design and material at the event.
