Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro leaked on HTML benchmarks

A few days ago, telecom company, Three, accidentally revealed the name of Sony’s upcoming smartphone, the Xperia XZ2. Now, a new leak suggests that we might see the company launch multiple smartphones under the name. Gizchina has posted a screenshot of a HTML Benchmark of a device called the Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro. The screenshot doesn’t reveal much about the phone save for the name and that it runs Android Oreo 8.1. The phone also scored 517 out of 555 in the benchmark score.

It’s possible that The Xperia XZ2 Pro would be the final name of the device formerly known as the Xperia XZ Pro.The new phone is tipped to sport a 5.7-inch 4K OLED display and is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB of RAM. It is also expected to offer 128GB of in-built storage. On the camera front, the phone is expected to offer a dual-rear camera setup with 18MP + 12MP sensors. At the front, the device is expected to features a 13MP rear camera. It is also tipped to features a 3420mAh battery and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. 

Sony is expected to launch the phone/phones at MWC 2018. The company has already launched three new phones. At CES 2018, the company unveiled the Xperia XA2 Ultra, Xperia XA2 and Xperia L2. The XA2 Ultra and XA2 are powered by the Snapdragon 630 and run Oreo. However, he XA2 Ultra sports a 6-inch Full HD display and is equipped with a 3580mAh battery. At the front, the phone is tipped to feature a dual-front cameras with 16MP+8MP cameras. The Xperia XA2 is tipped to feature a smaller 5.5-inch FHD display. The Xperia L2 sports a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 with a 3GB RAM. It offers 32GB storage and is equipped with a 3300mAh. This device was recently launched in India at Rs 19,990.
