The Xperia M2 Dual which was first shown off at MWC (Mobile World Congress) has officially made its way to the Indian shores. Sony has announced the dual-SIM smartphone at a price of Rs. 21,990 and will be available in the coming week.
Offering Sony’s patented omni-balance design, the Xperia M2 Dual sports a 4.8-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display and runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone features dual-SIM (GSM GSM) capability with dual active support.
In the storage department the Xperia M2 Dual comes with 8GB of internal memory along with a microSD card slot. The back features an 8MP camera with an LED flash and a front-facing VGA camera. In the connectivity segment, the smartphone offers 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG. Sadly the smartphone will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but an update is expected to arrive soon.
The smartphone comes with a 2300mAh battery which is said to give a talk time of 14 hours and standby time of 693 hours. The consumers will have an option of choosing the M2 in three colors – Black, White and Purple.
