Sony’s Xperia M Dual is now available for pre-order in India via online retailers like Flipkart and Saholic at Rs. 14,490. The smartphone, dual-SIM version (GSM GSM) of the Xperia M, is estimated to be available in the first week of October.
The Sony Xperia M Dual features a 4-inch TFT LCD display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sony’s Timescape UI on top.
The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via a microSD. The Xperia M Dual has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for video calling. The smartphone supports advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS and NFC support. It comes with a 1,750mAh battery that according to the company delivers 10 hours of talk time and 498 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The Android smartphone is available in Black, White and Purple colour variants.
Sony recently launched the Xperia Z1 and SmartWatch 2 in India. The Xperia Z1 sports a 5-inch Full HD display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8974 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB built-in storage. It supports expandable storage up to 64GB via microSD. The Xperia Z1 smartphone is available for Rs 44,990 in India.
The Sony SmartWatch 2 has a 1.6MP camera and has the ability to handle phone calls (dial, answer, reject), control media playback on the phone and even read emails when not connected to the phone. The Sony SmartWatch 2 has been launched for Rs 14,990.
