Sony Xperia C5 Ultra was announced on August 3 and it has been priced at 3,298 HKD.
The launch date and price of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has been released by Sony Hong Kong on their website. The phone has been priced at 3,298 HKD which comes out to be approximately Rs. 27,136, for the unlocked dual-SIM variant of the phone. Besides price, they also announced that the launch date of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra will be August 14.
Sony Xperia C5 Ultra sports a 6-inch screen with Full HD (1080p) display. The phone is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6752 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable, and 13MP of shooters in the front and rear. Both cameras are capable of 1080p recording and offer a wide angle lens and autofocus. As for the battery, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a battery capacity of 2390mAh, Sony claims that it is capable of giving you 7 hours of HD video playback, and 2 days of battery life. The other two interesting things about Sony Xperia C5 Ultra are that it is almost bezel-less and is not water-resistant like many other other Sony devices.
Coming back to the price, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is listed as per the Hong Kong market, which means the price of phone will vary depending on the market. The phone will not launch in the U.S. market as because it is only aimed at a few select countries in emerging markets. There are no words regarding the time-frame for the launch of the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra in India.
Sony had started teasing the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra from July 30, and they officially annouced the Xperia C5 Ultra on August 3 along with the Xperia M5. We will keep you updated about the launch of Xperia M5 as well.
