Sony to unveil Xperia Z1S and Xperia Taichi on November 12
Sony is expected to hold an event on November 12 where it will unveil the Xperia Z1S along with the Xperia Taichi to the world
If information circulating the Internet is to be believed, then Sony is holding an event on November 12 where it is expected to showcase two new devices – the Xperia Z1S and the Xperia Taichi. The event will be held in Shanghai.
The Xperia Z1S is expected to have a 4.3-inch 720p display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core CPU. The device will have a 20MP G-Lens camera. Sony has launched the Z1f in Japan and it isn’t clear whether the Z1S is the international version of the same smartphone. Information about the Z1f has made the rounds on the Internet and it seems to be a good performing device.
The Z1f is the younger sibling to the Xperia Z1. We have seen a lot of smartphone makers launch the “mini” variant of their flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, HTC One mini and more.
The other Xperia device, codenamed Taichi is expected to be a midrange device. It has a 6-inch 720p display and powered by the octa-core MediaTek CPU inside. There is no official word on any of these smartphones.
