Sony has announced rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z. The update brings a slew of new features and performance tweaks.
Sony’s update includes Project Butter performance & UI optimisation, and an improved graphical experience. It also brings Sony’s Smart Social Camera app. Sony has improved its native app portfolio in its latest update – including – Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID and Sony Select.
The update brings an improved integration between WALKMAN, Album and Movies apps and Sony Entertainment Network cloud service. The updated version of Sony’s Battery Stamina Mode has a new interface and more options to increase battery life.
The Xperia Tablet Z gets “Restricted Profiles”, which allows users to add isolated, secure spaces with individual local storage, home screens, widgets and settings.
