A leaked listing suggests this phone will have a 21MP rear camera and 5.1-inch 1080p display, as well.
While Sony’s latest Xperia X range of phones are still awaited, a new leak has emerged about a mystery phone from the Japanese giant. The device, codenamed 24UJ95LH34QX77B1, was spotted on GFXBench recently. According to the listing, the phone bears a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 3GB of RAM. While it uses the same SoC as the Sony Xperia X Performance, the listed device does not have the same camera setup. Also, the screen size is different.
The Sony Xperia X Performance features a 5-inch display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p. The listed Sony device on the other hand, features a 5.1-inch display. The listing also suggests 20GB internal storage, which is likely to be the usable space on the device. Coming to the camera, the X Performance has a 23MP main camera and a 13MP front facing camera. Whereas the new phone from Sony seems to have a 21MP rear camera and a 12MP front facing camera.
Since Sony has already closed down the flagship Z lineup and the new Xperia X lineup has taken over its reins, chances are, that the mystery phone will fall under the X lineup only. It is rumored that this mystery phone might be a regional SKU of the original Sony Xperia X Performance.
Sony is also gearing up to launch the Sony Xperia X and XA in India. The company has already opened pre-bookings for the same via its website.
