Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi spotted; rumoured with HD display and dual-core CPU

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi LT26i has appeared in the rumour mills once again, this time with leaked images. Also known as the Xperia Arc HD, the Nozomi is supposed to be the company’s first dual-core phone, and interestingly, is rumoured to also bear a 720p HD display, like the now official HTC Rezound.

Speculated specifications include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch display with a 1,280×720 pixel resolution, and Android 2.3.5. Considering the apparent lack of hardware Android buttons in the leaked, it is a distinct possibility that the Nozomi, or Xperia Arc HD, will ship with Ice Cream Sandwich onboard.

The Xperia Nozomi LT26i might just be the first Sony phone, as it might be the first device to launch after the demerger with Ericsson becomes official.
