Sony Ericsson has reportedly confirmed availability of its Xperia Arc S in India. The latest addition to the Xperia family runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by 1.4 GHz processor. Sony Ericsson had announced the Xperia Arc in September this year and was expected to launch the device in the fourth quarter. The device is available through online retailers such as letsbuy for Rs. 27,999.
The Xperia Arc S features a 4.2-inch touch display with 854×480 pixels resolution. The Arc S display is powered by Sony Ericsson’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine. The Xperia Arc S features an 8MP camera with LED Flash. The Xperia Arc S is capable of shooting 2D and 3D images which can be viewed by connecting to a Sony 3D BRAVIA TV.
letsbuy.com is offering Xperia Arc S for Rs. 27,999
The Xperia Arc S comes pre-loaded with Facebook and Twitter applications. It has just 1 GB (320 MB user-available) of internal storage, which can expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone is available in five colours including White,Blue, Misty Silver, Gloss Black and Sakura Pink. Read more details of the new SE device here.
Meanwhile, reports say Tata Docomo is offering special pre-paid and post-paid data plans with the new Xperia Arc S. According to Telecomtalk.info, the Tata Docomo offers are already available (from December 9,2011).
