The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will finally get its OS upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 sometime next month. In the meanwhile, Sony Ericsson is posting numerous videos of the phone running Éclair. You can check out all three below…
[RELATED_ARTICLE]In essence, the Xperia X10 will benefit from the Android 2.1 update in more ways than just differences in the interface, as Sony Ericsson’s firmware update will also unlock 720p HD video recording with continuous autofocus for the 8.1MP camera, amongst other things. Sony Ericsson is also promising the following new features: five homescreens instead of three, live wallpapers, improved lockscreen, enhanced keyboard, and reworked Timescape, apart from a backup and restore application.
