Sony Ericsson MT27i ‘Pepper’ surfaces; rumoured as Xperia Neo V’s successor
While Sony Ericsson teases what’s being dubbed as its next flagship smartphone, leaked photos of another mysterious SE device have hit the Internet. The device branded as the Sony Ericsson MT27i, codenamed ‘Pepper’, carries the Sony Ericsson logo, and is rumoured to feature a 3.7-inch screen with 480 x 854 resolution. The device is likely to be powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, and is believed to be the successor of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, which was unveiled in August last year. The phone has typical Sony Ericsson capacitive buttons, along with an unspecified front-facing camera and a 5MP camera rumored on the back. If Sony Ericsson has lined up the device for the CES 2012, expect to see more information on the device very soon. However, reports suggest that in case the device does not show up at the CES event, it will be launched at the Mobile World Congress, scheduled to be held in February.
