Chipset maker Qualcomm has just unveiled its latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This chipset offers on-device Generative AI capabilities. It has a 4nm octa-core chipset, with one prime core clocked at 3GHz, four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores clocked at 2GHz. This has been custom-built for budget flagship smartphones. We might soon get to see the chipset incorporated in the upcoming smartphones. Here’s a list of potential smartphones that could run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Motorola hin through a Weibo post that the Moto X50 Ultra could feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Further, some AI features will also be incorporated into the device with the help of this chipset. The smartphone could have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. For cameras, you could get a 50MP primary lens and a 13MP ultrawide lens. It could be released as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3, 2024.

We might soon get to see another Xiaomi smartphone with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The name of the device has been kept under wraps but rumours suggest that this could be the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo which will be released in China. It could be released as the POCO F6 in other markets.
Rumours suggest that the device could feature a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could also pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery and support 80W fast charging.
The Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro is set to launch in China on March 21. The smartphone maker has confirmed that this upcoming device will pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It might launch in India as the Xiaomi 14 lite. We do not have any confirmation about this from the company, but a Xiaomi phone was spotted on the BIS portal with the model number 24053PY09I recently. We don’t know the specifications of the device right now either, but just a short wait for that.

iQOO has confirmed that its upcoming smartphone, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. As is the case with most devices, the smartphone will first launch in China and will later be unveiled in the global markets as the iQOO Z9 Turbo.
