‘Shatterproof’ Moto X Force set to arrive in India
While official pricing and dates are yet to be revealed, confirmed word has come of Moto X Force’s India launch, possibly by the end of this month
The Moto X Force, known in the United States as the Moto Droid Turbo 2, is on its way to India. While official pricing, release dates and other relevant details as availability are yet to be announced, its launch has been officially confirmed by Motorola India’s General Manager, Amit Boni. Trusted sources indicate that the Moto X Force will be unveiled in India as early as late November, 2015, and will serve as Motorola’s flagship device for end-2015. The Moto X Force made a number of headlines by claiming a display that is unbreakable, demonstrating it in a number of promotional videos worldwide. Apart from the five-layer ‘shatterproof’ display and the four-year screen replacement warranty that the Moto X Force is being launched with, other details put it in similar footing with the Moto X Style, that itself was launched in India a little more than one month ago. Specifications point at a 5.4-inch 2K resolution display, 3GB of memory, 32/64B storage, Snapdragon 810 chipset, and 21/5MP rear/front cameras. While it will come pre-installed with Android Lollipop v5.1.1, the Android Marshmallow update may follow, soon.
