Samsung unveils Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy J5 (2016) smartphones

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) smartphones, and both devices are now listed on the company’s Chinese website. However, prices for the devices have not yet been revealed. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz with 3GB of RAM. The device is equipped with 16GB of internal storage and a 3300mAh battery pack. It has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a smaller 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz with 2GB of RAM. The phone has a 3100mAh battery pack, and offers 16GB of internal storage. At the back is a 13MP camera, while the front has a 5MP camera. Samsung launched the previous generation Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 in India last year. The devices were priced at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively.
