Samsung is gearing up to launch two new Galaxy A-series smartphones in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the new Galaxy A-series handsets on March 11th in India at 2:30 PM.
In a post on X, the tech giant revealed the devices to be launched during the event. On March 11th, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G handsets. The teaser is also live on Samsung’s official India website.

The tech giant has confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones will feature flagship-inspired design, built with premium materials. Both the smartphones will come with IP67 rating for spill resistance and will be protected by a stronger Gorilla Glass compared to last year’s Gorilla Glass 5.

Both smartphones will feature an advanced camera for nightography to help users shoot sharper images and videos even in extreme low light conditions.
For a smooth and seamless usage experience, the new Galaxy A-series smartphones will be equipped with powerful processors and large vapour cooling chambers.
Let’s see what more to expect from the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 handsets. A report by Gizmochina suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to boast a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy A55 will likely be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor, and could be available in two configurations– 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A55 could house a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro lens. On the front, there could be a 32MP selfie shooter.
Moreover, the Galaxy A55 could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
Now, let’s talk about the Samsung Galaxy A35 handset. It will likely feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Exynos 1380 chip, and could pack a 5,000mAh battery.
The A35’s rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there could be a 13MP selfie shooter.
Speaking of colours, the Galaxy A35 is expected to come in Lilac, Navy, Ice Blue and Lemon colour options. On the other hand, the Galaxy A55 could be available in Navy, Ice Blue, White and Purple colour options.
