Samsung to hold ‘Kapture the Moment’ event, may unveil Galaxy S5 Zoom
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom a.k.a K Zoom is set to go official on the 29th this month.
Samsung has confirmed holding an event on 29th this month in Singapore where the company is expected to showcase its next-gen camera phone, dubbed as the Galaxy S5 Zoom or K Zoom. Samsung tweeted a teaser through its Media Account stating: “Kapture the Moment”.
The “Kapture the Moment” catchphrase clearly indicates at Samsung will be releasing a camera-centric device. Sammobile has already published leaked images and specifications of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is rumored to feature a 4.8-inch HD display, Samsung’s Exynos 5260 hexa-core processor , 2GB RAM and will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat. There will also be a microSD slot for additional storage.
The S5 Zoom will come with 20.2MP (5184×3888) camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Xenon Flash, a 10x optical zoom, and a 2.1MP (1920×1080) front facing camera. Separately, reports claim the S5 Zoom a.k.a K Zoom has been approved by the FCC. The FCC listing reveals SM-C115 smartphone code and features such as NFC and 4G connectivity option.

Right now it’s not clear whether Samsung will unveil Active and Mini variants at the event.
