The Samsung Galaxy S4 is going to be launched at an event in New Delhi this Friday, April 26 (the date tying in with previous reports), for which the company has sent out media invites. The unveiling will probably be a grand one, considering the venue is a major entertainment destination.
There is no clear information about the pricing of the S4, but speculations suggest that it will be priced between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000. Samsung would be pricing the S4 slightly higher than HTC’s flagship smartphone, the One (Rs. 42,900), taking into account the pedigree.
Certainly one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was unveiled to the world on March 14. The S4 bears a 5-inch full HD super AMOLED display, and runs on an Exynos 5 octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. The rear of the smartphone houses a 13MP camera, and the front a 2MP front camera for video calls. A 2600mAh battery powers the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 brings with it a slew of features including S Translate, Smart Pause, S Voice Drive, S Health, Air Gesture and more. Some of these features are hits whereas some aren’t that impressive.
