OneUI 7 new features

The third beta version of OneUI 7 includes several updates and bug fixes. These are aimed at refining the user experience on the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. The Game Booster mode now allows users to change the default screen playback setting, rename FPS settings, and adjust the maximum FPS value. Additionally, users can now set the default scanning rate to 120Hz for smoother gaming.

There is a revamped lock screen, an always-on display, and a redesigned battery icon on the status bar. Issues that were previously faced by users such as volume key glitches in Routine+ mode and improperly displaying tools in the Edge panel have been fixed with this update.

This beta update also features a “Modify Exception” feature in Samsung messages. This can be used while saving MMS images. Further, the OneUI 7 now features a vertical app drawer with refined scrolling. The animations for the quick panel are also smoother now.

Further, the update also includes the January security patch for added protection. If you wish to download the beta update, then you will have to first enroll in the beta program. Once that is done, you can download the update via their device settings.
