Samsung One UI 7: How Galaxy S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra users can try Android 15 based update early

In India, users have reported receiving firmware version on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The update also includes the March 2025 security patch.
Samsung users can sign up for the One UI 7 beta through the Samsung Members app.
During its Galaxy Unpacked event that Samsung hosted back in January, the company also announced its latest software skin- One UI 7 which is based on Android 15. And then to Galaxy S24 series users. It was available for Galaxy S25 series users out of the box and now Samsung has even started to roll out the beta update for Galaxy S23 series users. Who can access the One UI 7 Beta?
As of now, the One UI 7 beta is only available for unlocked models. In India, users have reported receiving firmware version S918BXXU8ZYC3 on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with builds similar to those of other models rolling out. The update also includes the March 2025 security patch.
What’s new in One UI 7 Beta?
With the new One UI 7 beta, users get to access some new features like:
- Enhanced Galaxy AI tools for advanced writing assistance.
- Improved call transcription for better accessibility.
- ‘Now Bar’ feature, which highlights relevant activities across different apps.
- Refreshed home screen, redesigned widgets, and an updated lock screen layout.
- Revamped camera interface for a better photography experience.
How to enroll for this?
Samsung users can sign up for the One UI 7 beta through the Samsung Members app:
- Open the Samsung Members app and log in with your Samsung account.
- Look for the One UI 7 Beta Program banner and click on it.
- Register for the beta and wait for the update notification.
- Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to get the beta version.
