Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the launch of Galaxy On8 (2018 version) with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage later this week in India. According to IANS, the phone will sport a dual-camera setup on the back. The smartphone is expected to be priced around Rs 18,000 and it could be a Flipkart-exclusive device. This could be company’s second online exclusive-device after Galaxy On6 that the South Korean giant launched on July 2 in the country.

Galaxy On8 is expected to sport a 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display and could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor. The news comes on the heels of an announcement from Samsung claiming that the company has sold over 2 million units of the Galaxy J8 and the Galaxy J6 smartphones. Both the phones come with Samsung’s signature Infinity display Super AMOLED technology. The Samsung Galaxy J8 is available at Rs 18,990 and Galaxy J6 64GB and 32GB are available at Rs 15,990 and Rs 13,990 respectively

“These models are in huge demand and attracting 50,000 consumers a day reinforcing Samsung Galaxy J as the ‘Most Loved’ smartphones in the country,” the company claimed. Both Galaxy J8 and J6 sport Samsung’s signature Infinity Design philosophy, giving users nearly 15 percent more display area without increasing the overall size of the device.
