Samsung may be working on its own night mode called ‘Bright Sight’

A decompiled version of the stock Samsung Camera APK shows strings that mention the new mode as well as some of its features

It looks like Samsung is working on it’s own version of Google’s Night Sight mode called ‘Bright Sight’. The guys over at XDA decompiled the stock Samsung Camera APK included in the latest build of the Galaxy Note 9’s One UI/Android Pie and notes a couple of strings  the mentioned the new mode as well as some of its features.

Some of the noted features shown in the strings include the ability to ‘take multiple shots and combine them to get brighter, clearer pictures in low light without using the flash.” It is also noted that the mode will allow users to “Take bright pictures even in very dark conditions.”

It is possible that Samsung may unveil the new feature when it launches its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. A few days ago, the design of the phoens was leaked online. Judging by the images, it looks like the upcoming devices will feature a ‘punch hole’ selfie camera. It is also reported that there might be a new Galaxy S10 model besides the standard and the plus called the ‘Lite’. There are also reports that the Galaxy S10 may have a 5G variant.
