Samsung J7 Core with 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera launched

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Core is powered by the company’s own Exynos 7870 SoC and sports a 5.5-inch display. The smartphone is 4G enabled and is backed by a 3000mAH battery.

Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy J7+ in Thailand and now the company has listed another variant of the Galaxy J7, the Galaxy J7 Core on its Philippines website. The smartphone is priced at PHP 9,990 (Rs 12,622 approx, directly converted) and is available on Samsung’s Philippines website in Black and Gold colour variants.

The Samsung J7 Core is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC and comes with 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card. The J7 Core sports a 5.5-Inch HD super AMOLED display. 

Coming to the camera, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash. It features a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. It is powered by a 3000mAH battery, but misses out on a fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung J7 Core features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G connectivity, micro-USB port, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is a dual-SIM smartphone which measures 152.4 x 78.6 x 7.6 mm and weighs around 170 grams.

Samsung has announced a price cut on its flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 and the 2017 Galaxy A series smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will now be available at a price of Rs 53,900 and Rs 58,900 respectively. The smartphones were previously listed at Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900.  Samsung is also offering the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones at Rs 17,990 and Rs 20,990 respectively. The Galaxy A5 (2017) was previously listed for Rs 22,900, while the Galaxy A7 (2017) retailed for Rs 25,900.
