Samsung is preparing to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. While details about the Flip 7 remain scarce, multiple leaks have given us a glimpse of what to expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The upcoming foldable is rumoured to bring major improvements. Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone.
According to leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature an 8.2-inch inner AMOLED display and a 6.5-inch outer AMOLED screen. Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is expected to be available with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, this foldable smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4,400mAh battery.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely house a 200MP primary camera. However, the rest of the camera setup might remain unchanged from the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This means we can expect a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, it might get a 10MP, 4MP front-facing camera.

Samsung usually unveils its new foldable devices in July, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to follow the same pattern. The smartphone will likely be introduced at the Unpacked 2025 event alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Additionally, reports suggest that Samsung might also reveal its first tri-fold smartphone at this event.

Leaks indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could launch in India at a starting price of Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
