HIGHLIGHTS

Galaxy Z Fold 7 may feature an 8-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to have a 6.85-inch inner display and a 4-inch cover screen.

Samsung is also reportedly exploring tri-fold foldable designs for future devices.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be Samsung’s next-generation foldable devices in the global market. While the launch is slated to take place next year, leaks have already begun to circulate widely on the internet. In the latest update, both the smartphones are expected to come with bigger displays.

According to Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young, Samsung is developing a larger display for the next generation of foldable devices. Here’s what we know so far.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 Display Specifications (Expected)

According to Young, the inner screen and cover display of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be larger than the existing Galaxy Z Fold 6. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch and 6.3-inch screens. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to include an 8-inch inside screen and a 6.5-inch external display.

The reported display parameters match those of the Galaxy Z Fold SE, implying that Samsung may be using the same display technology. Not only that, the leaks also claims that Galaxy Z Fold 7 may launch in two different variants and will launch at the Unpacked 2025 event, most likely in July.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also claimed to include a 6.85-inch inner screen and a 4-inch screen, which are larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s 6.7-inch and 3.4-inch displays.

Meanwhile, Samsung is reportedly developing new foldable designs, including a tri-fold foldable display that is quite similar to Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate Design model. However, Samsung has not confirmed the development and has not said when these smartphones will be released. We believe the devices will not be available anytime soon.
