After the launch of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, we are all gearing up for the launch of foldable smartphones from Samsung. The South Korean tech giant is all set to host its annual Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th where it will unveil the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 folding smartphones.

Slightly bigger and brighter display

First up, we might get to see an improvement on the display on both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 might have a 7.6-inch inner screen and a 6.3-inch outer screen, with a higher peak brightness of 2,600 nits compared to 1,750 nits in the previous model.

Design changes

The overall design will also see a difference. It is expected to be 14 grams lighter,1.4mm shorter, 1mm wider, and 1.3mm thinner when folded. It can also feature an “improved Armor Aluminum frame”. And for protection, we might get to see the IP48 rating and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

New processor

Furthermore, it will most likely run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This processor comes with one prime core clocked at 3.3GHz, three performance cores clocked at 3.2GHz, two more performance cores clocked at 3.0GHz, and two efficiency cores clocked at 2.3GHz.

The battery and camera will be the same in the Galaxy Z Fold 6, according to a report by The Verge. However, we might get to see an improvement on the battery front. Samsung is expected to improve the battery by offering one hour longer LTE internet battery life, along with two hours longer video playback.

I would suggest that you take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for July 10th to find out what Samsung will actually offer.
