Samsung to launch the new foldable devices in Seoul, Korea

Leaks suggest the phone to be launched in July
With stiff competition from foldable devices made by Google, Motorola, Tecno, Oppo and Vivo, now Samsung's much awaited Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 have some good news for all. Leaks suggest that Samsung's foldable device launch date has been advanced and they will be launched sometime around July.
Korean publication Chosun reported that Samsung will be launching its foldable devices on July 26th in Seoul, Korea, and not in the USA this time but the announcement will mark global sale.
Why did Samsung seemingly decide to release the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 early? Reports suggest that the launch has been advanced maybe to trigger Samsung's Q3 profits.
Now that we know the launch date, let's have a look at specifications that the leaks have suggested for both the Samsung foldable phones.
Suggested specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
According to what the leaks suggest, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Talking about the display, it should come with 7.8 inches Dynamic AMOLED and 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution.
The leaks have earlier mentioned that the phone will be packed with a 4700 mAh battery, accompanied by 25W fast charging support. Coming to the RAM and memory, as of now we aren’t aware of any variations but the phone should be coming with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory.
Moving on to the camera of the phone. It is set to be a triple lensed rear camera with 50 MP primary lens, 12 MP Ultra-Wide Angle lens and 10 MP Telephoto lens. Along with that there is also the front camera which is 12MP.

Suggested specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
Leaks have suggested the specification of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 as well. The foldable smartphone should be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. About the display of the phone, it is a 6.7 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X along with 1080 x 2640 pixels resolution.
The phone will be packed with a 3700 mAH battery accompanied by 25W fast charging support. Talking about the RAM and storage, the foldable phone as rumoured should come in 3 variants- 8GB RAM+128GB, 12GB RAM+256GB and 12GB RAM+512GB.
Next, about the camera. The phone has a dual lensed rear camera of 12 MP wide lens 12 MP, ultrawide lens and the front camera is of 10 MP.

This is all that we have been notified by the leaks about the launch date and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. But, yet again these are just rumours and can’t be confirmed unless the company makes a formal announcement.
