Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event teaser shows 3 devices to be released on August 13
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are almost confirmed, and a third device is teased.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event is just one week away and like before, Samsung has started to tease the products that it's going to announce. The announcement of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Galaxy Note 5 is almost confirmed, but the latest teaser from Samsung has added a mysterious new device to the list. The new teaser is available on the Samsung Philippines website, along with a coutdown timer to the start of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event. The teaser image shows three devices stacked over each other, the device on top is most probably the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, followed Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in the middle, with the mystery device on the bottom.
There is no other information regarding the mysterious device, except that it's bigger in size as compared to the other two devices. Samsung has chosen the tag line, "We were the first to make them BIG. Now we're making BIG even BETTER. Are you ready to live BIG?" This implies that the device is a tablet, but what exactly it is? An 8-inch Galaxy Tab or an Edge tab?
Samsung announced the event on August 13 by sending out the invitations saying 'Note' the date. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a successor to the Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is a bumped up version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Besides this, Samsung has also annouced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Tab S2 9.7 recently. The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 sports an 8-inch Super AMOLED display, octa-core processor, 8MP/2.1MP camera, 3GB RAM, 4000mAh battery, and the option of 32/64GB memory. While the Tab S2 9.7 has same specs, but with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and 5870mAh battery.
