Samsung Galaxy S8 render leak shows the device from all possible angles

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to feature 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch dual-edge curved displays

Samsung is widely expected to unveil its 2017 flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus on March 29. The smartphones will be the first to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor and is expected to hit the market sometime in April. While we have seen plenty of renders and leaked images of the upcoming flagship, the new leak shows a 360-degree render of the device.

The new 360-degree video render comes courtesy Twitter tipster Onleaks and Gear India. The render shows dimensions of the upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 along with precise cut outs for USB-C charging slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display while Galaxy S8 Plus is tipped to sport an even larger 6.2-inch display. With Galaxy S8 series, Samsung is reportedly ditching regular version and both the model with sport dual-edge curved Super AMOLED display. The displays are likely to have a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels and an unusual aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

According to a tweet by Onleaks, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be 8mm thick and have precise dimensions of 148.90 x 68 x 8 mm and 159 x 74 x 8 mm respectively. The renders leaked in the past hinted at Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus having dimensions 140.14 x 72.20 x 7.30mm and 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94 mm respectively.

The new renders based on factory CAD design also reveal that Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will indeed come with 3.5 mm audio jack and switch USB-C port for charging and data transfer. The smartphones also feature a dedicated button on the right likely for Bixby assistant while the power button and volume rocker have been moved to the left.

Both the smartphones are rumoured to feature an iris scanner placed next to the front camera while the fingerprint sensor is being moved to the back. The renders also show the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus featuring a single rear camera. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants and option for 64 or 128GB internal storage. The device is expected to start at €850 for the cheapest model.
