The latest leak comes via hand-written notes of a presentation, detailing specifications of the camera-centric S5 Zoom.
It seems Samsung has already started working on several variants of its new flagship smartphone Galaxy S5. According to a new leak, details of the camera-centric ‘Galaxy S5 Zoom’ have surfaced on the web.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a slimmer body without protruding lens. It will have a larger 20MP CMOS sensor with optical image stabilization. The S5 Zoom will support 10x optical zoom.
The display will be bumped up to the 4.8-inch with 720p resolution. The predecessor S4 Zoom had a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat, 2GB of RAM, quad-core 1.6 GHz processor and a Xenon flash.
The design of the S5 Zoom hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it’s expected to be based on leather-style plastic on the lines of the S5 and Note 3.
The new leak comes in the form of hand-written notes of a presentation, where photos weren’t allowed. GSMArena, however, claims to have confirmed several bits of the info from its reliable sources in the industry. So far, there’s no word on the pricing and availability of the S4 Zoom.
Samsung is set to release its new flagship smartphone S5 in several countries. The company has already scheduled an event in India on March 27 where it is expected to announce pricing and availability of the smartphone.
