Price of Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 has been dropped to Rs. 46,400. While the official Samsung e-store shows the original Rs. 51,500 price tag, e-commerce sites such as Flipkart and Snapdeal have the listed the smartphone with the slashed price.
However, it’s notable Flipkart and Snapdeal are selling the “white model” at the new price. Flipkart is selling the black version at relatively high price – Rs. 49,999, while Snapdeal is offering the Black and Blue versions for Rs. 50,399 and Rs. 51,099 respectively.
According to reports, price drop could be either because of lesser sale of white model or the launch of the new flagship from HTC at around same price point. HTC’s flagship One (M8) is scheduled to be released in the first week of May. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 49,990. Check out our detailed HTC One (M8): First impressions
