The Galaxy S5 mini features IP67 certification, Ultra Power Saving Mode, a heart rate monitor, fingerprint scanner, and connectivity with the new Samsung wearable devices.
Samsung has officially announced the mini version of its flagship S5 smartphone. Called the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, the smartphone will be available in Russia starting in early July followed by global rollout. The smartphone will be available in four color options: Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It sports an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 2.1MP front facing camera.
The smartphone comes with 16GB built-in storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD. For connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC (LTE ver. only), Bluetooth v4.0 LE, USB 2.0, A-GPS + GLONASS and IR Remote.
