Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S3 Neo in China. Samsung has decided to launch the phone before Galaxy Note 3 Neo, whose pictures have already been going viral online. Except the dual-SIM functionality, the phone is almost identical to the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels making it a 306ppi display. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, and is expected to get Android KitKat update soon after release. Currently, the smartphone is listed on the Samsung’s official China website, but without pricing details.

As far as the processing power goes, the phone features a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, though the manufacturer of the processor is not known yet. Rumours suggest the processor will either be Exynos 4 or Snapdragon 400. The smartphone has 1 GB of RAM.

The smartphone will be powered by a 2100mAh battery. The rear camera is an 8MP shooter capable of taking 1080p videos while the secondary camera is 1.9MP. The primary and secondary SIM card slots are WCDMA (850/900/1,900/2,100MHz) and GSM (850/900/1,800/1,900) respectively. Dimensions of the phone are 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm.
