Samsung Galaxy S25 vs S24: Expected launch date, features, priced and other details

When compared to the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S25 can feature a more rounded frame.

On the battery front, there might not be too many changes.
After Apple, Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming Galaxy S25 series. It will succeed the Samsung Galaxy S24 series which was launched this year in mid-January. As it is Samsung’s flagship, we obviously expect a lot more, and recent leaks and rumours suggest that Samsung is going to offer a lot. Ahead of the launch, as is the case always, rumours and leaks have started to spin a story.
Let’s now take a look at what upgrades the Samsung Galaxy S25 can pack as compared to the Samsung Galaxy S24.

Let’s start with the design first, when compared to the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S25 can feature a more rounded frame. It can pack a 6.86-inch display, possibly even reaching 6.9 inches, with thinner bezels and a lighter titanium frame.
On the hardware front, the Galaxy S25 can pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset which is an upgrade from the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. If the rumours are leaks are to be believed we might not get to see major upgrades on the camera front. It will feature a similar triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide. Even on the battery front, there might not be too many changes. We might get to see a similar 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
When will Samsung launch the Galaxy S25 series?
If we consider Samsung’s launch timeline, last year the Samsung Galaxy S24 series dropped in mid-January. So this year as well we might get to see the Galaxy S25 series in the early weeks of 2025.
