On the other hand, Samsung’s true competitor, Apple launched the iPhone 16 series in September with all the noise and hype. In this article, I am going to compare the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, based on rumoured specifications. So, let’s go!

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra vs iPhone 16 Pro Max

Let’s start with the design first. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be packed with a Titanium frame, just like the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It can have a 6.9-inch display, whereas, the iPhone 16 Pro Max also features a 6.9-inch display. Moreover, unlike the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra can feature a rounded frame this time, which we also get in the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Moving to their displays, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adjustable refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. Galaxy S25 Ultra’s display might be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max uses 2024 Ceramic Shield glass.

Next, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is highly anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The chipset is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Whereas, the iPhone 16 Pro uses the A18 Pro chip. The AnTuTu score of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, over 3 million, recently surfaced on the internet. However, the A18 Pro scored only 1.7 million on AnTuTu.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 200-megapixel sensor, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, dual telephoto lenses, and upgraded 100x Space Zoom for sharper zoomed-in photos. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro Max uses a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with up to 5x optical zoom, and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens.

And lastly, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can pack a 5000mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging support. The iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with a 4685mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support.
