As the iPhone 16 launch is now over, the attention has now shifted towards the Android flagship phones. Major tech companies are now working on a launch. Rumours are now starting to fall about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. It shows a newer design language and some other additional changes. Let’s take a look.
Leakster OnLeaks in collaboration with Android Headline took to X to share new renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. From these leaked images we can see that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra doesn’t have really big upgrades to the design but the changes are notable. We might get to see both aesthetic and functional upgrades.
The renders show that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have flat side rails. This new design choice aligns with the Galaxy S24 and S24+, which also feature flat side rails. Last year, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra had a flat top and bottom rails but retained softly curved side edges. This might improve the phone’s ergonomics and its overall visual appeal.
Adding to this, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can be lighter and more compact than its predecessor. It can weigh 219 grams. The Galaxy S24 Ultra last year weighed 232 grams. Plus, the new model can also have slightly smaller dimensions, measuring 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm compared to the S24 Ultra’s 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6 mm.
But despite all of this, the Galaxy S25 Ultra can have the same 6.8-inch display. It can also have slimmer bezels, which could improve the screen-to-body ratio and overall user experience.
Speaking about the cameras, they can have a similar camera layout. Not a lot of other details are revealed in these renders. Let’s wait and see what the final result turns out to be. If we go by trend Samsung might unveil the new Galaxy S25 series in January next year.
