Samsung is expected to release the flagship Galaxy S25 series next month, with improvements in performance, display, camera, and more. The Galaxy S25 series may include the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, as it does each year. However, rumors suggest that Samsung may also unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. But, as always, the focus will remain on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy S25 Ultra, including its price, launch date, and specifications.
According to the leaks, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S25 series on January 22 at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. However, Samsung has not officially announced the launch date yet.
Samsung may release the Galaxy S25 Ultra for Rs 1,29,900, the same price at which the Galaxy S24 Ultra was launched. However, if the reports are correct, Samsung may raise the device’s price slightly due to possible updates. We will have to wait until Galaxy Unpacked 2024 to find out the official prices of the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may launch with a bigger 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is expected to power the device along with up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone may feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The device will run on Android 15-based OneUI 7 and have exclusive GalaxyAI features.
In terms of camera, the tech giant may retain the 200MP primary shooter along with a new 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. There are possibilities that Samsung may also add variable zoom capabilities.
The recent leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with a free Gemini Advanced subscription, Gorilla Glass Armor protection, seven colourways, and much more.
