Recently, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was spotted on the Geekbench website.
The device was identified by its model number SM-S938U.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has achieved some brilliant scores.
Samsung usually unveils its flagship Galaxy S series at the beginning of the year. As 2025 approaches, the anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is only increasing. The Galaxy S25 series will succeed the Galaxy S24 series. Ahead of the launch, rumours and leaks are already giving us a hint of what to expect from the flagship series. Recently, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will be the most premium offering from the series, was spotted on the Geekbench website. This spotting has given us a hint at what we can expect from the eldest brother of the Galaxy S25 lineup.
The device was identified by its model number SM-S938U as it follows a similar pattern to the Galaxy S24 Ultra which went by the codename SM-S928U. The upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra can run on Android 15 out of the box and can be powered by Snapdragon’s upcoming flagship chipset. While rumours suggested that the South Korean tech giant could use its in-house Exynos chips for the entire lineup, we might get to see the Snapdragon chips at least in the US, as the spotting happened on Geekbench’s US website.
Now, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has achieved some brilliant scores. It got 3069 points in the single-core test and 9080 points in the multicore test.
The device can be powered by an octa-core chipset which goes by the codename Sun. As I mentioned earlier, it is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in the US. It can feature two Prime CPU cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.90GHz.
Let’s take this news with a pinch of salt for now as there’s still some time before Samsung actually unveils the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Only time will tell what the final product packs.
