South Korean tech giant Samsung is gearing up for the annual launch of its flagship Galaxy S series. The word on the internet is that Samsung can unveil the Galaxy S25 series on January 23, 2025. The most awaited smartphone from the lineup with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected to be the ultimate flagship smartphone. Starting with the design first, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have a more streamlined design this time. It can go completely flat with the design and can carry a slimmer body with thinner bezels. On the rear, the camera rings are expected to be thicker than those on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The S25 Ultra can carry a slightly bigger 6.9-inch display, compared to last year’s 6.8-inch display. Even the peak brightness is expected to be increased from the current 2,600 nits on the S24 Ultra. It can run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and comes with One UI 7.0.
Coming to cameras now, the S25 Ultra can retain the 200MP primary camera and can feature enhanced AI processing for better low-light shots. We can get to see a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and two telephoto lenses, one with a 3x optical zoom and the other with a 10x optical zoom.
For the battery, we can get to see a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
As per rumours and last year’s pricing, the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra- 16GB+256GB can come at Rs 1,20,000. Let’s take this information with a pinch of salt until Samsung officially announces it.
