Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could house an even greater camera setup
With the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, there could be two major changes in the camera.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also pack a quad-camera setup.
Other reports also suggest that we can see a newer 200-megapixel sensor, close to 1 inch in size.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 series as soon as the year started. People are still talking about it and now we hear rumours that the South Korea-based tech giant is working on this series’s successor. While we all await the upcoming Fold series, the internet is spreading rumours and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Let’s find out more about this.
A recent leak has given us some hints about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera module, which is the most high-end phone from the lineup. Tipster Ice Universe shared this leak. He revealed that Samsung might go with the same quad-camera setup we previously saw on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, this time, there could be two major changes.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra expected camera specifications
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will pack a quad-camera setup. This might include a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel super-telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
If we compare this with the previous models, the ultrawide lens and the telephoto lens will see an improvement. The S24 Ultra had a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The primary 200-megapixel camera and the 50-megapixel super-telephoto sensor remain the same. Other reports also suggest that we can see a newer 200-megapixel sensor, close to 1 inch in size.
But I would suggest that we take this news with a pinch of salt. We can not be sure of anything unless Samsung confirms it itself. And if we look at its timeline, then the Galaxy S25 series will launch somewhere in January 2025. So there’s still a lot of time at hand.
